Growing vegetables in my own garden was a real joy for me until we had to move to an apartment and I no longer had access to land. But this is a reminder of how the tomatoes would come into the house not-quite-ripe and sit in the kitchen window sill till they were. Tomatoes and peppers were a favorite and I loved the glow of the sunlight on the reds and greens of the veggies. Here is a collage I did from memories.

There are lots of cool options and ways to grow things in urban spaces and apartments. I’ve made quite a catalogue of some of them the last few years with friends of mine. We share research and articles we find. Cheers.
Thanks. I have tried a few but I seem to kill them all in containers. I try to grow tomatoes especially but also herbs like basil and oregano. We only have a west facing window and the light is so harsh here in California that it scorches the plants. Not ideal for patio container garden. Thanks for commenting.
