My mother had an old tree stump in her front yard, it was an eye sore. To have it dug up wouldn’t be cheap but she knew that was what she had to do. That was until she found out that a few gnomes in her neighborhood were eyeing that stump.
To her amusement and surprise, she woke up one morning to discover that a gnome family had taken over and had turned her stump into their home. Her neighbors are delighted and my mother is as pleased as can be. The gnomes have made a nice addition to the neighborhood.
The best part is that those gnomes manage to keep up with their new found home and every year they add something new to their space. Just last year they added a little flower garden and some sod.
That is wonderful! What a fabulous idea!
Thank you Kim, the neighbors have fun with it, they always look forward to seeing what will be added or changed next.
I bet they do, make sure to show us as well. I have done mini gardens before and have seen these, but dont have a cool tree stump like this. Long ago I made a table out of one though. We just sanded the top and stained it.
That’s a classy gnome home!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and comment.
This is so cute and awesome!
