Day Four of JuNoWriMo; This Might Not Work Here

This is not a complaint about the site, whatsoever. In fact, I am already grateful for what Virily already does. I do not want to give them a hassle.

Projects like JuNoWriMo tend to work best on blogs where the author retains full control of when something is published.

And the staff of Virily are already swamped with work. Oh I could just imagine what the “in” tray looks like compared to the out tray.

So, may just need to do something a little more “casual” as far as journaling the ascent. Either that or, hope the blogging gods are cool with a post being a day or two late, every once in awhile…or even early.

JuNoWriMo will be good for the site. It just might be a bit unfair of us blog authors to expect on point publishing.

They are already doing all they can with the resources they have and this site is growing.

Still, I want to try.

The goal of 50,000 words in just 30 days is a good, healthy amount of work to put in in an effort to regain any writing ability after the recovery. The act of writing is – as always – good pushups for the brain.

Anyone hoping to earn from writing had better get into the habit of writing when you don’t feel like it because we will never feel like it.

The only time I have ever had anything was when I got to the other side because I forced myself too.

But, I cannot – in any good conscience – try forcing the staff here to bend to my every whim. I am just one blogger in a sea of friendly blogger faces to the people who work behind-the-scenes – and this is as it should be.

We creative types tend to have big egos. While I will likely always believe that ego is not so much the problem as is self-deception, it still just seems immature to me to expect the staff to just drop everything to take care of me.

So, for my readers, the days, dates and times will be a bit off on some of these posts. Please forgive me, there.

I will make this JuNoWriMo adventure work this time. And I will be legendarily nice to the awesome staff while doing so.
