The original photo was in Black and white and I chose to change the colour. I have this one in an A2 canvas board, done in Acrylic and also the same one in a softer greener blue like this of the same bird.
I showed an Australian this and he told me, that the white parakeet are shot because they eat the corn when it is ripe.
I feel sorry for the birds that are shot but I understand the reason.
Lovely work, great great skill!!
Thanks Alibb, glad you like the painting.
It’s a great picture. Some birds also eat corn in our country, but we do not shoot them
Very pleased you don’t shoot the birds that eat corn…Every creature needs to eat. Some people are mean and don’t want to share their food.
I speak to the birds and tell them they can have some but to leave me some too.
They actually do that for me.
Thanks Vidocka.
This is likee totally awesome! And blue – very nice artwork.
Glad you like the blue background of the white Parakeet. Thanks Howard.
Great picture, dear Pamela
Glad you like it Lado, …
Sad to read this. What a stunning photo you have created.
Thanks Carol, some people are mean, but Australian land is not forgiving for farmers…No need to shoot them.
Glad you like the painting, it is done in acrylic paint.
I too feel sad when birds are shot but to live in harmony we need a different kind of discipline which sadly is not there.
Yes, but in New Zealand they are not shot, people have them as pets and they are very bright.
the first one to greet me in Bird Rescue was a White Parakeet that talked back to me.
He greets everyone at Bird Rescue.
