Catch a Book and Put It In Your Pocket
I always loved the song “Catch a Falling Star”. I was reminded of it when I did a space like image for my Encouraging Children to Read series. The idea is to use illustration to encourage children to read more. This is especially close to my heart as a girl who had vision problems and was slow at reading. I avoided it as much as possible and now I love reading. I am a little worried for children today who avoid reading in favor of video and gaming.
What do you think? Would this image make you want to read a book?
This is an amazing work! I didn’t use to like reading much when I was a child, but this changed when I was a teen, so I have hope for the other kids. 🙂
I was like that too but only because I had vision problems that were cleared up in my teens. I appreciate your comments.
