Every house has to have a firm foundation.
So when we do anything we need the right tools for the right job and we also need to set our priorities right in life.
Some come crashing down because sometimes the foundations fail. The ground or base needs to be level and firm to stand upon.
Well, if our house comes down because we haven’t done it right, perhaps we can start again and build another. Try again
I did this illustration in Black & White to gain entrance to a Graphic Design Course in 1986, and I had one chance in 6 to get into this course.
I tried once before and failed, I had no idea. I went to an evening class for Graphic Design and the teacher told us to go to his class to see what they did in Graphic Design for their end of term exhibition
When I looked, I had a good idea what they wanted and began to assemble several drawings. This is one of them
Yes, I got in..
You have shown here that you are a great artist.
Thanks so much Grace glad you like it.
My view is that every thing must have a solid foundation. Otherwise, everything can crash quickly. Great job.
Thanks so much Vidocka, that is great.
The house of fulfilled dreams! Beautiful!
Thanks so much Ileana, glad you like it.
Very good sketch … I hope the foundations did not break when you entered, dear Pamela
Well, the course was full on and the tutors expected a lot of us. I learned a lot. Everything then was hand done. Yes, I made a few mistakes but then you have to start all over again and have another go.
Thanks Lado.
You know the saying that we learn from mistakes, dear Pamela …. in the end you made a great sketch
You deserved to get in, absolutely amazing talent you have.
Thanks so much Carol, really pleased you like it.
