I know I have not been on Virily for a few days, we have just submitted 4 pictures each for an art competition in Howick, East Auckland.
We walked in the door in the gallery and were told we both won a prize!
The art was judged on different categories, Dry Art, Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Mixed Media and Abstract.
The thumbnail, “Mysterious”, by my husband Warwick (otherwise Rick), won the first prize for dry art. I will add all his other entries here. He got $200.00 for it.
I got a certificate of Merit for my 3 Oystercatches which are also in this post and other art work included.
All in display in the Fencible lounge, next to Howick Library in Uxbridge road until 4 pm on Sunday. We have 2 weeks to prepare 2 pieces of art each for Green Gables art gallery.
