Today, even though it was a little chilly, I decided to walk down to Old Quebec to do a sketch of some buildings. I had a place in my mind of where I wanted to go but I was still open to stopping if something caught my eye. I felt that I was looking through new lenses as I walked to my sketch spot. Instead of just seeing the people and cool buildings, I saw frames of what could be sketches and paintings. It was fascinating and very liberating.
I stopped in front of the Chateau Frontenac and found a bench that was facing the adjacent street. I love the buildings on this specific street so I decided to sketch them. And the angle was perfect from the bench so I sketched away for about an hour or so.
What kind of things do you like to sketch? I love architecture so these buildings in Old Quebec are fascinating for me!
It was quite chilly that day! But it was still fun to get out and try some sketching!
You are very talented indeed, Brian.
You are so talented, this is great!
This is a great attitude, and good exercise for your artistic talents. Well drawn
Thanks Pamela. It was definitely a good afternoon. I’m looking forward to doing it again soon!
