Much as we love photographs in any shape or form, occasionally some pictures appear that for some often inexplicable reason, just stand out.
Often it is the composition of the shot and then it may be because of a special technique used, like shutter speed or lighting. Then, there are a few, that stand out because of all of those qualities, or perhaps even none of them, who can tell? Which of these, if any, has that little something; a quality that eludes description: “The Mona Lisa’s smile has a certain je ne sais quoi.” From French, meaning “I don’t know what.”
