With a majority of us in society having access to smartphones, the opportunities to share pictures on the go are endless. I captured this picture while leaving my college campus to drop of paperwork to my professor. And on that train ride I add, I encounter many sights that I just have to capture and share on social media and inside of my blog with this being one of those photo captures. My only complaint about smartphones is that some pictures do not appear as they do with the naked eye which tarnishes the value of the capture. As the sharer I see beyond this photo as far as the surrounding pieces and the character behind it, but others that view it see only what is captured in it. I hope you enjoy this photo shared.

It looks so very narrow to me!
Probably because it is a one-way road
I had to pull this one off quick because the train was moving, after a short halt
I agree with you. This is a nice photo. Never taken a train ride before.
It feels like a boat ride with less of the slow rocking feel. I hate it at times
Nice photo! You have a very clean surrounding. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Sharon. South Loop is a very classy looking part of downtown Chicago
Great shot there. Still looks chilly by the way people are dressed.
Chilly day! It was very damp out too because of previous rain. I wish we had the Cali weather ; )
I have argued the cell vs digital camera argument for years! I agree with you!
That said, what a wonderful picture from the L!
And I have many more to share. One of these days I will add a video along with my captured ; ) Thanks, Doc
I love remembering Chicago. You are providing a service!!!!
Once I get out on my bike you’ll see tons more. It gives me more to speak about as I share my workouts
very cool – I will wait for your rides!
This summer I’m planning a trip to the original sears tower, which sits in North Lawndale. I may have share something on it, but if not then I will share it soon. In-between sharing on Yelp, I sometimes forget if I shared things on Virily or not.
When I was working in Chicago I used to love being near the Miracle Mile around the holidays.
I loved the unique displays in the Marshall Fields and Sears Downtown windows!
My first visit to Magnificent Mile was during the holidays, so every time I visit, it is all I think about. Currently have a drafted review on Yelp where I’am speaking of that initial experience.
Personally, I loved the other side of the river. The decorations in the theater district were beyond amazing. But, when I brought my family we always had to go have Tea at the American Girl store.
Is ‘American Girl’ the name of the actual store? I’m always looking for things to bookmark of areas I have potential to visit.
I believe it is, I didn’t organize the tea parties, and after the first one, I wasn’t invited again.
Very cute place. I just had to look it up. Would be the perfect place to take the daughter that I wish I had ( Check out American Girl Place Chicago on @yelp https://www.yelp.com/biz/american-girl-place-chicago-chicago-2?utm_campaign=www_business_share_popup&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com)
🙂 time my friend, time. All things come to those on their path.
I need more routes in the area, other than Chicago Ave which takes me across Mag Mile. A killer route that I could do, and share would be Chicago Ave, Mag Mile towards the beach then hit my normal route towards Navy Pier. Sounds like a route to share.
if you do that route, get a picture of the lighthouse that is beyond the end of Navy Pier.
I love that lighthouse!
Cool. I am glad that I seen this before I hit the road. If I do not get a picture of it today then I will get a picture of it this weekend.
