It was during last week of December 2018 when it’s the peak of summer season here in Canberra. We were experiencing bright sunny days with temperature in the range of 22-42 degree C.
But as we all know Canberra experiences a vast variation in temperature and weather condition on a daily basis. One day it is cold even summers with thunderstorm, hail storm and temperature reaching well below 20 and the next day it’s back in 30s.

I like all seasons, they are all beautiful in their own way…..We sometimes get hail here too.
The ice crystals seem nice and big in your picture. I am yet to see a hail storm in my life. Once, it happened in my native place when I was not there. Too many close misses for me.
It’s a common thing here in my place. You would love it watching it I guess.
Just a couple of days ago we had a heavy hail storm. I like them but not the harm they cause to my plants.
Not only harm to plants but the outage of electricity which is rare here also happened.
I prefer sunshine to hailstorms, which is why I live in LA
Both are common in my place here. We get a hailstorm at least twice a month.
wow, that’s pretty wild weather
I don’t think that I have met anyone that likes hail storms.
I am sure, but most kids I saw were too excited.
There are many in the US now with hail storms. We have sunshine right now.
I am sure you have a good weather i your place but I don’t mind a hailstorm when it’s too hot here. This year the the temperature touched 42 degree C.
I prefer a sunny day in front of storms.
The sunny days are too sunny here so a hailstorm once in while is a pleasant surprise!
