The dramatic lighting on late afternoon is a great opportunity to capture beautiful shadows in your compositions. When the sun is closer to the horizon, the shadows will be longer and more beautiful.
Today I have two photos taken in the same place but in different seasons. That’s one of the reasons why I love photography. I can make more photos in the same place and they can be different.

I prefer winter as snow is unheard of and unseen in our place.
As much as the winter image is beautiful, I went with the spring image.
Good choice! Most prefer spring than the cold season.
Cold weather feels like being in a freezer.

I find both pictures stunning but the winter one is more appealing to me. I swear I should have been born an Inuit (Eskimo). Winter is and will probably remain my best loved season maybe until I get in my eighties. Then maybe I will switch to probably spring but definitely never to summer as I cannot tolerate the heat.
I suspect you are an Inuit. You have first nations blood in your veins
