These fellows are battling for survival in Durban Natal, where once they flourished un-checked, however with the human populace, bursting at the seams, they are finding it harder every day just for a tiny spot in the sun. Not only are humans robbing them of a place to stay, but they are also being hunted as “Bush-meat”. One can almost say, about the creatures in South Africa, if it moves, it’s almost certainly gonna be someone’s next meal. So, so very sad.
It looks there are very few creatures that are not on the human menu list.
So depressing to read about it. These creatures should be protected…
This is way sad Andre. I have seen several Nat Geo shows about this topic and it is heartbreaking.
