I was out running errands yesterday. I always have my iPhone with me and the camera is fairly good. I was coming out of a building, looked down and there were butterflies all around me. The same frittilary butterfly I saw in my backyard a couple of days ago. So I snapped a few photos. Funny thing I Iearned.. this butterfly’s complete scientific name is Speyeria cybele; cybele meaning “mountain mother” or “earth mother”.
These were swarming around the marigolds and my legs while I was snapping the camera. Not sure what the tiny white blooms were. You just never know when you may need your camera. Always be prepared.

Yes, I always have it with me, but getting it ready to take that perfect photo sometimes happens too late lol.

80% of the time I leave the house, I must bring a mobile phone, which means bringing a camera, on the contrary only 20% of my “adventure” in a home garden brings a camera so sometimes I lose a beautiful moment.
I was surprised at this scene right in front of me in the city.
