Leskovac barbecue is an economic and tourist event that is traditionally held in the last week of August in the area of the popular “Broad Branch” in the center of Leskovac.The biggest and most visited grill festival in Southeast Europe. Over the course of seven days, over 500,000 visitors come from the country and abroad.Leskovac’s barbecue is accompanied by rich cultural and entertainment content with performances of star of the stage, folklore ensembles and bleach orchestras. Traditional accompanying programs are the preparation of the largest burger in the world.

Since I am from Leskovac, I have to intervene: pljeskavica is branded under its original name and has nothing in common with hamburger, starting with receipt for preparing barbecue meat (rostilj meso). 🙂
Leskovac is a city that is entitled to the name brand “Leskovacka pljeskavica”.
