February is the month of love with Valentines Day around the corner. It is also the last month of summer here in South Africa. March will be the start of Autumn.
This beautiful rose comes out of our garden and being so late in the season already, it will be one of the last. We will have to wait until Spring for some more of these beauties.
Come on, what are you waiting for? Just pick up your camera and start joining in the fun of the 365 Photos Challenge. Just be sure to read the Rules and Guidelines.
In case you missed my previous entry, you can see it here: Cloudy Days
Lovely rose. It is so interesting to read about the different seasons around the world.
This rose is still looking beautiful. That’s true, I also enjoy seeing the differences.
I don’t have a rose plant here, but at least I have a beautiful one there!
Hehehe. When I come to visit I will bring you a sprout.
It’s good to do for me, Della. Please do.
I hope I get one for Valentine’s Day
Haha, me too. But I think it is highly unlike for me this year.
I am a huge fan of roses. We had our own rose bushes next to our house in Cincinnati Ohio. We loved having them bloom!
My grandfather used to culture his own roses. The collection he had was breathtaking. One bush would be pink with purple around the edges, the other would be white with pink. The newspaper came several times to take photos of his rose gardens. I think that is where my love for roses comes from.
You can always count on the roses at fall. And we go into spring. I will send you some. : )
Aww thank you, Kim. That is so kind.
