Green is Healthy ~ Color Crazy

The green to yellow are beautiful colors to work with. Especially when it comes to garden photos. I love the healthy rich green and the yellow blooms. They make a great contrast.

Hostas

Hostas are a favorite in my garden. This is a variegated type. They have different shades on the leaves, some are solid green. They come in different varieties. The best part about them is you cut them all the way back at the end of summer, then they return in the spring.

Day Lily

And another of my favorites once again is the yellow day lily. Each day producing a beautiful yellow bloom to enjoy. Like the hostas, cut them back each year and they will return in the spring.

  6. Thank you for another peek at your garden. I learned another new thing! The only reason why I haven’t ever bought a Hosta is because I thought they were annuals. Thank you for your contribution!! : D

    • You are very welcome. I am glad to share. I am sure you have garden secrets as well. I try to buy as many perennials as I can. Hostas come in several varieties as well. I will post more.
