Given the current situation around the world, I don’t know if I will be able to spend a holiday by the sea. Since I adore the sea, I would really miss this vacation. I hope the situation calms down. Today I reviewed pictures from last year’s vacation. I have a lot of pictures you haven’t seen yet and today is one of them.
I also read some nice thoughts that I would like to share with you.
Life is not a problem to be solved, it is not a question to be answered. Life is a mystery to be observed, to be admired, to be tasted. – A. de Mello
Be strong as a grass herb: rooted, ready to bend, and at peace with everything around you. – Natalie Goldberg
Wisdom means being aware of the fallacy of our views and opinions and the uncertainty and ephemerality of the things we rely on the most. – Gerard Brown

I haven’t been on vacation for a long time and I won’t go this year either!
I like to move away for a few days away from home.
I also don’t know what will happen this year with my dismissal, dear Vidocka …. I still hope I succeed …. hope dies last
I still hope so too. I hope the situation will improve.
The current situation really shows a little better just what when the situation changes every day
With the business of life whereby vacation is a few days, I have never had one other than staying indoors.
I hope to be able to spend at least a week by the sea.
The sight of the sea is breathtaking. I had a chance to do so with Lake Victoria, the second largest freshwater lake in the world.
you spent your vacation as a street lamp?
(sorry I couldn’t help that).
this year’s vacation was at home for me, finished on Friday. I was told to reduce the length of my chore list or find a place to sleep on the floor.
hahaha … I understand the joke. 😊 I am all days at home so want to “withdraw” at least for a week at sea.
we were talking about heading to the sea for a long weekend in August, but Delaware (where we were going) now has a new outbreak. So, no sea other than the Chesapeake Bay this year.
It is best that we cling on to memories and re live them until we are free to move around.
I agree with you. Why would provoke fate.
Love the photo and your quotes. Staying home has become our normal, even before the COVID.
It’s nice at home too. I have been spending my holidays by the sea again for the last few years.
The sea is too far from here, over 500 miles.
I also have a fairly far sea (about 300 km).
I don’t even remember when I last went on a vacation. However, I have the ocean now in walking distance and I also have the Halifax River within walking distance so I don’t really need to take a vacation I can relax on the beach or by the river at any time.
You are lucky. I have to go to a neighboring country if I want to spend my vacation by the sea.
