I was really lucky in photographing this wild rose. I also managed to catch this bumblebee.
Bumblebees are seemingly too heavy, awkward, and poor fliers. However, this is not the case. They are very intelligent and efficient, and in nature, they play a very important role. Even today, despite all modern technology, tomato growers use bumblebees for pollination. Because they have a longer string than bees, they are indispensable for the propagation of plants with long necks, whistles, bellflowers. The life of bumblebees is short; only one year is devoted to them. Bumblebees are three times faster and even more diligent than bees.

Wow such a gorgeous capture!
Thank you, Ellie. I was lucky with that shot
They are very useful and hardworking creatures
You are right. They play a very important role in nature.
I don’t think I have ever seen or heard of them. That’s a long life for a tiny insect.
The bumblebees look really beautiful. Too bad you haven’t seen this insect yet.
i love bumblebees! they bring so much to the world. Great picture of the bee gently taking pollen with them as they fly to the next flower!
You are right. I often observe bees at work on my terrace.
a friend of mine used to have a camera focused on the hive landing pad, he would share the videos and called it the Bee Dance Channels. I was sad when he took it down.
These videos must have been very interesting. We rarely see such shots.
here is a great link to JC’s Hive – fun to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jaGaNr9r9A
Thank you so much for the link. I will be happy to watch the clip.
Beautiful picture. I didn’t know bumblebees only live for one year.
Thank you, Ileana. I very rarely see a bumblebee. I saw this in the Arboretum Park.
Great picture, dear Vidocka ….. I knew very little about bumblebees … nice and very interesting
Thank you, Lado. I’m glad you learned something new.
You know we learn all our lives and we die stupid
You are absolutely right. We never know everything.
Especially when I read the posts from Dock I see that I know nothing
I get regular bees and bumble bees in our clover patches. I’m sure I’ll be seeing them in my garden soon! Great photo!
Thank you, Karen. Bees and bumblebees will surely visit your garden as well. I see them most often on my terrace.
Yes we have a good many with all the woods around us.
We have bumble bees in our garden and they mostly come for the blue trumpet
I see bumblebees less often. We have more bees.
This is a very gorgeous picture
Thank you so much, Thomas. I managed a pretty good shot.
Great shot, so sad about nature, many things do not live long enough, like bees and butterflies.
I agree. Nature can be beautiful but sometimes a bit “harsh”.
