I took this photo a few minutes ago. The rain that fell all night filled my lemon tree with water drops. The refractions in the small raindrops caught my attention and made me take some pictures. Usually, before publishing, I do the basic editing but this time I make an exception and publish this photo straight out of the camera … just because someone told me I’m not a photographer if I can’t take “good” photos “straight out of camera”. Personally, I do not agree this idea. An unedited photo is like a text that contains grammatical errors.
Anyway, I share this picture with Macro Monday Challenge

I saw this on the feed. It doesnt show the name of the author in the thumbnail, so I always try to guess before I click on it. I knew this was yours! Love the three drops, which shows perfect framing. Leads the eye. I see a pale yellow flower coming out of a pot in the reflection. Brilliant! I do manipulate my photos to lighten, darken, boost colors sometimes, and crop, and you know sometimes I get really crazy and make art of them, but mostly I like the natural look. I do not agree with what that person said to you, even Ansel edited. 😉
I think I said it once! When someone starts to recognize your pictures, it is a sign that you have your own style! Thank you, Kim!
You do have your own style. The way you frame is my clue. You have an awesome eye!
i cannot edit the pictures my father and grandfather left me. But I do resize them to fit various platforms. Editing perhaps someday.
Why can’t you edit them? Any photo can be edited if you have an editing program.
emotional attachment to those pictures doesn’t let me edit them.
Those reflections in those drops are amazing
I only edit to create the right size and sometimes the photo comes out dull and that is when I edit it to get its natural brightness
Thank you! I do basic edits like shadows, light, crop
I like that photo and I’m not one of those who set such rules, do your best for people who watch your work, that’s my idea of creating.
Thank you, Albert! I follow the law: “I do it as I like.” Following this law I am sure that there is at least one person who appreciates my work (this is me). That’s enough for me. What goes beyond a person is a bonus!
I am one of them, and certainly not the only one who appreciates your works.
Thank you very much! 🤗
You are always welcome, Ma’am.
How cool, I see flowers upside down in the drops. Great macro as always.
It’s one of my orchids. Thank you, Carol!
!hmm, nice post thanks for sharing us
Thank you, Hamza! It’s a pleasure to share my work with all my friends.
I see a flower pot. I don’t know who was the one who told you, “I’m not a photographer if I can’t take good” photos “straight out of the camera.” He is very fooled. I don’t know why there are people who are angry with you.
Yes! It’s one of my orchids. No one is angry with me. There were just different opinions.
