Sharing a photo from my spring garden. Today is Macro Monday challenge day. These tiny berries can be missed if you are not paying attention.. The birds usually find them and have a nice lunch.
Any idea what these berries are from? The identity of the plant? You can guess in the comments.
Amazing what you can see with a macro lens. And if you take the time to slow down and look around. When you are always rushing and trying to beat the clock, you often miss so much around you.

These look very much like mulberries
Never seen mulberries. These appear on my Lantana plant right after it blooms. Produced after its 1- to 2-inch clusters of flowers are pollinated, each berry contains one seed.
Are they edible berries?
To be honest, I have no idea. But my gut say Holly.
I just posted the answer below…. Lantana. 🙂

Lantana was the correct answer!
I have no idea , very hard to guess
You should just take a guess, but now I have posted the answer.
It is a lantana, I think.
You are absolutely correct!
i guessed Holy, but we know how poor my guessing skills are…
Lantana is the correct answer! My holly berries are all red.
crap and you shared that before. plant identification is a weak point!
Not a problem. Technology is a weak one for me. We balance each other perhaps!
🙂 yin and yang! Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis….
i think our disagreement in the last two would be which one of us is which one!!!!
Strawberries are very similar to aronia berries.
I did not know that.
I do not know exactly, but it is similar to lantana.
You may be on the right path.
Botany is not my best point so I do not know the cubes may have belonged to this strawberry
Not a strawberry, it is a flower.
This is lovely! I voted for Lantana, because the name sounds interesting.
Thanks Ellie, I will reveal the answer later.
