Today I’am casting for Chicago Med at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. It is always a pleasure being a background extra for shows Chicago Med, Fire, PD, and The Chi. The loose time in-between scenes allow me to catch up on the little things like reading, deleting emails and daydreaming about future plans, as I get paid in the process. It is a great way to make easy extra money in-between the college semester, current job, or if you just want to be apart of the franchise. I joke with friends and family claiming that I’am on my way to superstardome, and that if they want to carry my bags, the job is currently open, hehe.
It is college football gameday, and my mind is on the Red River Rivalry game: Texas Longhorns vs Oklahoma Sooners, as well as my beloved Illinois Fighting Illini vs Michigan Wolverines. Lord help us! Coach Lovie Smith could use this win because the Fighting Illini fans are fed up with losing.

Sounds like a wonderful job if you can get it.
Actually not hard to get if you meet the simple requirements they are looking for.
That is too cool. You will have to let us know when you have a page on imdb.com.
That would be sweet because then I could pursue something different.
That is fantastic and how does one go about getting such a great job
It is all about applying for what is open with basic information and measurements. They have a Facebook page where we typically see the openings ( Chicago Med Extras facebook page or 4-Star Casting). Big cities like Chicago have opportunities like this.
Are you serious? I watch these shows every week!
I’ve been doing it for 4 years now. Never mentioned it though.
Wow that is a huge deal, what fun that must be.
