I woke up this morning to the news that the fire doubled in size overnight, with only seven percent containment. Mandatory evacuations in many areas and even here we are covered in a thick cloud of smoke.
The air quality is oppressive, so we have spent the day indoors, honestly the air is so thick out there it’s not safe to do much else. The air literally feels suffocating. I feel bad for those who are in the belly of the beast.
Tomorrow we have to venture out for cat food. I am hoping we have some improvement in the air quality because I’m quite fond of breathing.
Say a prayer for those who are fighting this beast from the air and the ground.

We kept the air conditioner on the whole time when it was like that here. Just make you time out quick, wear a mask if you have one. Stay safe, I am watching for more updates. My sister lives near you.
The air is so much better today, they opened the pool for the first time in five days yay! And some of the orders have been lifted yay!
