A tree that provided food and comfort is no more and that is what these birids seem to chirp about. They are shocked. This happend a few years ago when our ever yielding cashew tree withered away in front of my eyes.
I saw these birds perched on the dead tree and chirping in a way they never did before. Probably vigorously discussing their pain.
It is quite moving. I have no idea what they are saying.
When I saw them in that setting I drew my own conclusions
Sorry they lost their cashew tree
But I will forever have their chirps locked in.
I removed the cashew tree at the side of our house but the big one in the front yard is still alive although I am treating it with insecticide to kill the termites.
We missed seeing the termites. Now we watch for them in the garden
That is kind of sad. A great video.
I could feel their pain the way they were chirping
I like this film so much! Cheers!
Thanks. I am glad I captured their chirps.
The sound is great! And, the silhouettes against the grey sky are great compositions. I would further exploit the sound and the visuals here. You’ll get some nice films
.
I have a folder full of captures (lol)
Obviously, they remembered that the tree used to give birth nicely and provide them with plenty of food … now they miss it
If only we understand the flora and fauna. They too have emotions.
I absolutely agree with you, dear Grace
Wonderful performance. And it is free every day!?
This particular chirping was different as I certainly feel they were missing that tree which was packed with fruit and healthy branches for them to frolic around
