5/10 i got not so bad
50% is a very decent score!
7/10 not bad score, but really nice post
Not bad at all, well done 🙂
Weak score
Oh well, thanks for having a go
6 correct here. I liked the option never doing yoga again pose. lol
Haha yes, thought a little humour wouldn’t go amiss 🙂
Great score Kim, well done!
Lets try
I wonder, how did you get on 🙂
6/10 for me not bad
Not a bad score at all, well done!
6/10 for me
Only 2
Better than none 😉
7/10 nice quiz
Great score, well done 🙂
The fun part in this quiz was the Sanskrit names and their Engish meanings. For example, “svan” means dog, so I could make out which answer it could possibly be. “Matsya” means fish, etc.
Yes, exactly! If you already have a basic knowledge of Sanskrit then it really does help
Hmm… If not for that, I’d have got a few more wrong, to be honest.
Looks like I only got 1 correct answer
Woops! It was a tough quiz!
Got seven right so I haven’t forgotten everything just yet. But it seems like I knew some of these asanas by different names. Also, we did the plow a little differently… With such a long history and so many students this is to be expected
Some teachers do use different names for some poses but the ones I have here are the literal translations of the traditional Sanskrit names for the postures.
Great score, well done 🙂
I don’t doubt your versions are more accurate, which is why I’ve phrased it so carefully…
1/10
LOL
Oh dear!!
I got 13/14. i thought the chaturanga dandasana is the Plank Pose. i mostly know the english version.
urdvha looks like a backbend.
Urdhva directly translates as upward. For example in Urdhva Dhanurasana, urdhva is upward and dhanurasana is bow pose. The same with urdhva mukha svanasana being upward facing dog pose. You’re right though, they’re both backbends 🙂
got 4 out of 10 right!
Not too bad, it was a tricky quiz!
1/10
Oh dear! This one was a bit tougher than the last two
They’re getting harder! I got 4/10 oops 🙂
Still not an awful score though. Definitely trickier than the last ones though, yes
3/10 I did horrible. Super fun quiz though
Woops!! Maybe you’ll have more luck with the next one 🙂
8/10 I did better this time!
Hey, well done, that’s a great score!
