Music Words that Begin with C

Words are tremendous fun. We use them, play with them, create with them, and  make up new ones. They just continue to be an endless source of entertainment. Misusing them can be as funny as using them in a joke.

Writers always like to store new words in their back pockets for one never knows when they might come in handy. Scrabble players stay on the lookout for words that can be used cleverly, and, naturally, students are always up to good stuff and such with them.

This quiz focuses on words that come from the world of music and begin with the letter C. It won’t be too stuffy–no canone enigmatico here, nor will you find the ridiculous–nothing about caterwauling, I promise, just a look at some musical terms that could come in handy.

Let us know in the comments below if you find any new and interesting words, especially ones you can use in conversations about other topics. If you ace the quiz due to a solid knowledge of music let us know about that, too.

    • I have discovered that learning about music has its benefits whether I am good at it or not so good. :- ) Our children get their natural talent for it from their father’s side of the family, but with a little work I can follow them a bit.
