how does a fertile desert work? isn’t that a contradiction?
The Tharparkar desert in the southern province of Sindh, is seventh largest desert in the world, and the only fertile desert in the world. Most areas of Punjab and parts of Sindh are fertile plains where agriculture is of great importance.

To be honest, I know very little except that Pakistan split with India in 1948?
This is also not correct. Pakistan separated from India in 1947 not 1948.
