The parish church of the birth of the blessed Virgin Mary is located in the center of Mali Lošinj. The cathedral is dedicated to Mary’s birth. The church stands on a small square built between 1696 and 1775. Inside the church there are pictures and votive gifts of the sailors, the cross path and Vivarini’s altar image of the Virgin Mary. The cross of the Cross is a copy of Tiepol, which is located in the church of St. Paul in Venice. The most important attractions are the church marble altar, the dominant belfry on the square and the relics of Sv. Romula.

Very beautiful church … I watched her during my holidays
This is really something interesting at all when you close the road and you can watch in peace how everything is going
Have you ever been to Lošinj?
This is beautiful. How people were attending here?
I do not know if I understand the question only to the church running over 200 steps
I mean how many people are going to church? Do you have a lot of Catholic members in your area?
Most of us are Catholics – minorities are Orthodox and Muslims
Ahh no wonder, like in Lithuania I saw lots of beautiful old churches there.
I like churches very much and I like to visit them
The Jakarta Cathedral Church is in the city center. But there are enough parish churches in all areas of the city with some architectural characteristics of Indonesian culture.
A friend of ours has every little village you have
The majority of my country’s population is Muslim, so the number of churches is much smaller than the mosques.
But with you, the majority of Muslims – but also the mosques – are very beautiful – there are not any of us at all – now they are building one, if they do not run out of money
Yep! Many mosques with beautiful architecture in my place, which they built generally by collecting funds from the people.
Here, too, nothing is built with the help of citizens
If I find myself there, it is definitely worth to see it. It seems that cathedral has been renovated or maybe I’m wrong? 🙂
Otherwise I do not know if it was restored only and I think it was really restored – it looks very good for its age
You’re right, it really does:)
The church has money if it has real farans
Stunning cathedrals. We have them but not like this.
I’m Carol some of them are really wonderful – I’m not religious – I do not go to the masses of the church alone, but I love to watch
I agree with you, and love to see this beauty.
I really agree with you
Yes I have seen and been in a church but the last time was a long time ago. The church, whose pictures you show, is very impressive and seems very beautiful. Great photo of a beautiful and tall landmark.
