The world’s tallest bridge is Millau Viaduct a cable-stayed bridge spanning the gorge valley of the Tarn near Millau in southern France. The height of its towers are taller than the Eiffel Tower and driving across it makes you feel like you are right up in the clouds.
The bridge is part of the E11, a well-known motorway between Calais and the French and Spanish Mediterranean coasts. There are 890 feet from the road deck to the valley below and the views are fantastic. Information about the construction process of this bridge can be found at the Visitor Center. The center and service area are at the north end of the bridge.

I haven’t seen this bridge yet. I do not know. if I dared to drive across this bridge.
Always wanted to feel closer to the clouds, this one might do it.
Very cool – it is amazing what people can do when faced with a problem!
Where will man’s endeavors end? It’s an incredible construction and I was not even aware of it’s existence.
I have visited the Eiffel Tower but wonder whey the organisers did not take us to this rare sight.
