The Women’s World Cup is now down to the quarterfinals as the USA looks to defend their 2015 championship. However, there are seven European teams left that are seeking to take the crown away from the Americans.
The quarterfinals begin on Thursday with a barn burner between Norway and England. The marquee match-up that we have been waiting for will be on Friday when the host nation France goes against the USA. On Saturday, there will be a doubleheader with Italy versus the Netherlands followed by Germany against Sweden.
