Why do our teeth turn yellow over time?

There are two types of stains, extrinsic, those on the surface of the enamel and intrinsic ones that are formed inside the tooth

Extrinsic dental stains are more common and in most cases, it has to do with what you eat. Among the villains are dark foods and drinks such as coffee, red wine, black tea, sodas, and dark sauces.

The second type of stain, the intrinsic one is that which forms inside the tooth, when the enamel can no longer protect the surface. In addition to the acids, some medications can cause this type of stain.
