11 Jun 2019

Chicago, Illinois (Edgewater neighborhood)

Nikon Coolpix P7700

The rose was growing in the front yard of a neighbor’s house.

Editing was done using ACDSee Ultimate 2019. I adjusted the color temperature, lighting and levels, then increased the vibrance. Next I sharpened the image a bit.

    • Actually there’s nothing wrong with your eyes, Alex. Adjusting the color temperature to deal with the type of lighting I had to work with changed the color a bit. The flower itself was pure white. I’ve started experimenting with a different editor, On1 Photo RAW, which might do a better job.
