It seems to me that we have a few generations of people who cannot seem to find the happy medium. I feel like there are groups of people simply searching for someone to blame and looking for something to be unhappy about. Part of my job is to seek out those people and help them learn how to be accountable. This is not an easy task.
However, when it is done correctly and everyone comes out with their self-esteem in tact the work place begins to run like a well oiled machine for at least a time. It certainly does cycle.
Take care of clients and teaching team members how to take care of each other is a never ending job. Changes come and everyone has to start over again. It’s the way business works. We have gone through four different computer interfaces this year and there will probably be another before years end.
