Love ItLove It

When do you graduate?

One of the things I love about living with Alzheimer’s in the home is that there will always be a different perspective. I usually sit next to my husband and read with him if he is on the site. He really can’t have an account because he wouldn’t always understand the rules.  Today he did some reading alone. He didn’t mention anything about what people were writing about. He got stuck on the term Newbie. It took me some time and lots of questions to figure out what on earth he was talking about.

He started out with “when are you going to graduate on Doc and Carol,  you know, (Dustin’s Mom) website?”

I had to stop and take a moment that he appreciated and understood just who Carol is. I cried a tear or two. He said, “Well you don’t have to cry about it, you should just try to do better so you can graduate. You don’t want to be  a Newbie all of your life.”

  1. Oh my goodness, that brought a tear as I read. Bless him! It makes my day to know he is taking an interest and is associating my name with my user name! Good for him. 🙂 We do have to laugh to keep from crying often.
