We had this in Melaka when we visited the Jonker Walk… Chendol is a common local dessert, however, this one taste really weird … This dessert is saltish-sweet and it’s just a very weird combination … I’ve tasted Chendol back in Singapore and it doesn’t taste this weird…

I’d just try it. For my overweight of 15 kg is preferable such a dessert. Just fruits. Hahaha

alibb, I just read an article about a young man who died from drinking milk after eating durian. Does this sort of thing happen often? The article said it caused “poisoning worse than a snake’s venom!”
I’ve heard pf this one too… I can’t tell you to what extend these might be just hearsay … but I’ve seen my dad doing this (drinking milk tea after durian) for a few times… He is still living. LOL. Also we have durian milk/milk tea.ice cream here… so yeah…
Anyway, both milk tea and durian aren’t the most healthy food… :p Both have high sugar content… but are both delicious

I’ve been wanting to try durian for decades but still haven’t
depending on where u are, durian can be hard to find…
and durian is seasonal.
Anyway, if you get the chance, I’d recommend Malaysian durian, esp D24.
it is more like nobody will eat it with me and those things are huge
I’m not sure but here we can get packet durians which is slightly more expensive but 1 person should be able to finish them …
