As you know, Wednesday is the day of shadows on my blog! In the last days it rained in Targoviste. I have not been able to make a new photo! We do not have the sun, we do not have shadows! ?
I lost a lot of time to decide what photography to choose. I searched through the archive and found some pictures of shadows taken in a winter day with lots of sunshine and many shadows. I thought maybe … you miss the winter!!! For those who do not love winter I have a picture taken from the same place this spring!

No

We have so much winter now … just a little higher … at 500m
Shadows are long. When the height of the Sun changes, so does the angle its rays strike the ground, the incidence angle. The incidence angle is smaller in summer than in winter.
I wonder if winter shadows are actually longer and if so, why? must be related to the axial tilt
Love the analogy. Perfect scenario for something meaningful.
Thank you. Captivating photography.
Oh thank you Ileana. You made my day by posting this beautiful WINTER picture. I daresay there were a lot more spring votes but as you might have guessed or remembered I am a winter person through and through. Again thanks.
More beautiful photos my friend. I prefer cool spring days but also enjoy the winter.
Lovely photos seasons are really magical!
