I have talked many times about Cotton the rescued owl. The local state park rangers rescued her in the snow as a baby. She had a broken wing that never healed. She now has a forever home at the park.
I went to visit her earlier and there she is. As lovely as ever. She really helped take my mind off everything in the world right now. If only for a few moments. She was like a breath of fresh air.
Nature has so much to offer all of us.

Thanks, it always makes my day and I touched her when I took this one.
I love the picture, Carol! what a beautiful owl.
the story makes me sad in the beginning, but having a forever home makes me happy in the end!
Thanks, it always makes my day and I touched her when I took this one. She definitely took my mind off everything. She is well taken care of.
she would be dead otherwise. Her life is a testament to caring!!!!
Exactly, they are doing amazing things at the park.
She is looking prettier now.

Hi, beautiful Cotton!
She is the best and always makes my day to see her. I actually touched her today.
It’s awesome she let you do that!
And it rarely happens. Often she will stay in the back of her enclosement and I barely get a photo.
This is my new favorite of Cotton.
Thanks, I managed to get closer than usual.
I always love seeing Cotton.
Thanks, so do I. Makes my day.
Beautiful photo and post. Thanks for sharing
