Venice is such a wonderful city. Because there are vintage shutters, there are such narrow streets that you hit the opposite walls with your body… Venice smells like fish and sometimes sludge, and it’s not annoying at all because Venice still is unique.
When I am there, I feel dizzy with the beauty of the square, Venice with its bridges, Venice with its frenzied old men like the elves who would unlock all doors to me…
And how to describe the beauty of Venice gondolas that are wandering in canals! This is a wonderful place, Venice when you wander through its streets and canals till late night because of your curiosity. just want to buy those crappy masks just to have at least a little Venice.
Here I understand that divine beauty is impossible without ugliness, without mold, without bad smell sometimes, without shabby shutters…
Venice, you reject and you invite. I throw a coin into the water somehow solemnly because I want to come back here.

I liked everything about Venice except that Gondola ride which I did not take as I found the water to be dirty. I was fascinated with the water buses, pigeons in St. Mark square……….and lots of other sight seeing marvels.
Venice looks very romantic but have not visited.
