Once you have grown your own tomatoes or bought fresh from a farmers market, it sure makes it hard to buy the ones in the grocery store. The fresh ones have such a rich flavor and actually taste like a tomato. We always had a garden growing up and always had tomatoes. I still love them to this day.
This photo was taken from my deck veggie garden I took a shot at one year. I did not do as well as my parents but I will try again. This was the only tomato that survived.

I grow tomatoes in my garden each year and the taste is amazing, can’t compare them to the store bought ones.
Good for you! There is no comparison. Good to see you. 🙂
I can’s agree more on home grown tomatoes tasting better. We also grow tomatoes in our garden but we get very tiny tomatoes though these are still very tasty.
We call those cherry tomatoes. Good for you.
Tomatoes are very delicious food for health reasons.
Yes indeed I agree with you.
Especially after I was diagnosed with hypertension. I had to change my diet by eating tomatoes.
Love your tomato photo, and I love tomatoes as well. I bought some at store this evening, and I must say they look great, for a change. Home grown is best though.
Thanks, I was proud of my one tomato! Glad you found some at the store.
I love tomatoes and I plant it every year in my garden.
Good for you, I love them as well and they are great to cook with.
I love tomatoes and I had a lot of planted it just gave birth to poor … it was too much rainy days and moisture and it was already green became black
Yes I love sandwiches, they are delicious and healthy. Fried green tomatoes are good too. Sorry about all the rain.
I have never tried roasted green tomatoes … I will remember and I will try them this year
Unfortunately, I only have many bonsai and ornamental plants in my garden. But maybe I can plant tomatoes or others on vacant land around my house. This post is inspiring and hopefully, nature gives me time too.
Bonsai is at the top of my list, they are incredible. Nothing like the taste of your own homegrown tomatoes. Good luck!
Bonsai to be seen in the yard while tomatoes for me to harvest are around the house. Good idea, right?
Excellent idea my friend!
As usual, tried and failed.
None of our fruiting plants bear fruit even if they survive … haiz …
Oh well, there is an art to it and I will try again. 🙂
Lol, keep trying, you’ll get it!
For now, we’re more into non-fruiting, at least for my mother. :p
