I couldn’t sleep last night. Bro was in much pain and very dizzy, so I sat by his bed and read and helped him in and out of bed and make it through the night. I did some reading and I found an interesting section about writing your own script for your life. I believe that is kind of what I am doing with my daily choices and still I found the would “script” more interesting. So I am going to give it a try and see if it introduces any great twists and turns in my thinking.
Today my script reads something like this. “Sometimes I think I focus on changing the world instead of changing my view of the world. Bro is not going to get better. There is no cure. Somehow the shift has to be to make every day we have meaningful in some way. I have to stop trying to fix and accept what is with grace.” I really don’t know how to do that. I know people here who seem to do it very well.
Carol is great example of taking the best things in life and celebrating them and still acknowledge the things that are hard. If I could create the perfect neighborhood there are many of you who I would love to have in my world. (Doc would come visit, but I live too far away from big water for his boat! Well, I think he would come visit.)
So today my script reads~
~ Tell people how valuable they are to you and to others.
~ Take things as they come and adjust quickly. Life is really to short to try and change things beyond your control. (Someone should remind be about that, like every 5 minutes.)
~ Put the needs of others first and somehow you will be fulfilled.
~ Remember to give more than you take.
~ Learn more about handling fear, because I am really not good at it.
~ Simply connect.

I try to live by the rules of Pay it Forward. It is the philosophy of making the world a better place because you were there.
When someone does something nice, tell them. But then take what they did for you and give it to someone else.
Thank you for reminding me to focus on that rather than worrying about the injustice around me!
This is another sad story that I hope would have a better ending.
Thank you for the mention. I push through each day not knowing where my strength will come from. But somehow, some way it always comes. I hope I have helped in some small way. We each have to find what works for us, and you are doing that.
Keep trying until you find it.
Never ever give up.
Our sympathies are with you , God bless you
I’m sorry to hear about your brother. You are very supportive and a good brother to him. Yes, we write our own scripts in life. You say wise words, and a caring person. Take care.
