This is a photo I took last year on a trip to Bucharest. Not far from my daughter’s house is the Circus Park. Every time I get there I like to sit on the shore of the lake to admire the lake full of flowering lotuses. I hope to see them again this year. I have always been amazed that the beauty of this flower remains unaltered even though it is surrounded by mud.
