In the photo – lagoon. I more love sea views, it can be calm or wavy, stormy. And the sky above the sea is almost always amazing. Still, I was born near the lagoon. My childhood went swimming in the lagoon, but not one you see in the photo although it is the same lagoon, just another place.
I still remember the sunsets we watched being children. And, the summers there were perfect for us.
Anyway, I am a true water person that cannot live far away from the body of water.

I love this photo, it is very beautiful . In Auckland it is an Isthmus and surrounded by water on 3 sides. I have always loved the sea or water.
that is a great picture but I do agree I much prefer the edge of the sea!
we are but an hour from the Chesapeake Bay!
The Chesapeake Bay looks very picturesque, you are lucky living so close to this bay.

That is very lovely. To the right of me is the beach and ocean within walking distance and to the left the Halifax River.

I used to live by the ocean but moved inland
I guess you do not need ocean inspiration for all that beautiful art you are creating.

There is a park with a lake nearby.
Lakes have their own beauty, usually, they are calm and loved by birds.
