We had thunder lightning and heavy showers part of yesterday. The tv, pc and mobiles had to be put off. Being in a lockdown situation stepping out was out of the question.
After pottering around in the kitchen for a while all what I did was that I sat in my favourite corner and reminisced.
When it comes to birds it made no difference to them. I could watch them merrily flying around chirping away, frolicking in the birdbath and nibbling at fruits.
Our pet cats were oblivious of what is happening around. They were as playful as usual. I miss Preiti our pet dog She would have reacted to thunder and lightning.

We have similar weather today.
Are you happy with the weather as here we were not prepared for it.
Sometimes, all we can do is sit and wait for the situation to get better.
And relive memories, specially happy memories.
We desperately need more rain in Auckland..
We were not ready for rain as we had not harvested our fruits and rains have destroyed them
That is sad to hear…
