The Stanley Cup Playoffs are now back to normal with the beginning of the National Hockey League (NHL) Eastern Conference Quarterfinals today.  All four match-ups can go either way.  Here is a look at the pairings.

#1 Philadelphia Flyers vs #8 Montreal Canadiens.

#2 Tampa Bay Lightning vs #7 Columbus Blue Jackets.

#3 Washington Capitals vs #6 New York Islanders.

#4 Boston Bruins vs #5 Carolina Hurricanes.

The most intriguing Best of 7 series is definitely Tampa Bay versus Columbus.  Last season, Columbus knocked the Lightning out of the playoffs.  The revenge factor will be in play during this series.
