There are thousands of little decisions we all have to make every day. I am going to try a little experiment today.
I know I need a shift, the stress from dealing with death, planning a funeral, emptying a house, and dealing with an x-sister-in-law who extorted my father, an elderly man, is taking its toll.
So today I choose to break it down a bit and decide why and how this is going to be a better day.

I am going to have the house phone turned off for the day. Anyone who truly needs to get in touch with us has our cell numbers. This will stop harmful chatter.
-
Proofread the programs for the funeral because they botched the obituary.
-
Listen to some music
-
Dance
-
Eat Healthily
-
Send 5 thank you cards
-
Settle on a floral arrangement
-
Ponder purpose
-
Write down my negative thoughts and shred them
-
Keep clearing my mind
This will serve as my goals and choices for the day.
-
Do you think I can make at least one of these things work today?
-
Yes
-
No

i love the fact that you want to send 5 thank you cards today! what a noble goal!
Those needed to be done. Gratitude seems to help everything look a little better.
It really does, sometimes we have to just stop and say thank you!
(ps Thank you for reminding me)!
Great list, I am proud of you.
Oh wow, you created some happy tears this morning. Thank you so much.
It sounds like you are determined to have a successful day.
Thank you for saying determined. My family would have said stubborn.
