Many new posts have appeared on the site today. I know members who have waited awhile and I see their posts.
Unfortunately I see others that look like ads, not our fellow members we were waiting for.
But I suppose in life we have to take the good with the …. not so good sometimes.

Hello Carol DM. Tried to send you a message. It failed. They finally posted 1 of my works. I can see the other 3 works that I tried to post but the notificationss said that only one work, The Master of Ceremonies was posted by a Virily editor. I also noticed that the comments are in reference to that one work. I was not able to answer any of the comments individually. There is something strange going on.
i wouldn’t call them ads.
advertisers set goals of 10,000 views, 20,000 views. Their “click-through” rate is normally 1 in 1,000 so 10,000 would only get them 10 click-throughs.
the posts here, get 20, 30 views at best that would be a really dumb way to advertise anything.
if they were linked to someone external that would be interesting because it would draw eyes to the site, but they aren’t.
They are more promotional pieces and not really something that will help or hurt the site.
I know they are not ads, but in my mind they are, and I do not read the posts. We should see the member posts instead of these “promotional pieces”. That was all I was saying.

I have been trying to post works since last week but have failed all the time. I tried to send a message to “them” and get the result of -error, try later. I have not had the chance to see other people’s work but have not see too many familiar ones. I was in lockdown for over a hundred days and I had no access to the internet. It may happen again. Numbers are spiking in my neighborhood.
So sorry for your issues. Please do not give up. I will add your name to the next email I send to admin. Have you tried to email support? support@virily.com

I have not tried support. Thanks for the info. They are now requiring people in my area to wear face shields with the face mask. I promise to try to be careful.
Ok. I just sent a message to support. Don’t know if it will get to them. I tried to post one work yesterday and it did not post again. Thank you for helping me out. Thank you very much.
Good luck with a response. Many of us do not get one, but you might get lucky. I certainly hope so.

A company will pay bloggers from other countries to create a blog post from their respective countries, so that the world rankings of a company in searches will move higher up in the Alexa ranking.
I understand the process. It does not help the members and their posts. They should come through first.

Seriously, bogus posts here? That’s strange. I wonder how they think that will help the site??
