Sharing a photo with Friday’s Black & White challenge. This Day Lily is originally yellow. The black and white really brings out the shadows in this one, in my opinion. This gives the photo an entirely different look. I like the subtle look of the black and white with some photos.
Have you joined this challenge yet? I have many photos that surprisingly when I edit them to black and white, they are so different than the original.

I love the photo! My black and white photos mostly are from years ago, when colored photos were not an option lol. Yes I am old lol!

Black and white gives the best contrast many times! When i started drawing one of the tips to learn and “see” shadings is to turn the image black and white and up the contrast a little.
