A real culinary temptation for me. Kurtos Kolac. It is a very popular product for holidays, festivals and fairs. It can be made exclusively from natural ingredients (flour, sugar, milk, butter, eggs, yeast and salt)The dough is extend on a wood roller lubricated with oil. The dough is cut into strips and stretched in a spiral leaving between them a small distance which during the baking process will disappear. It’s very very good!

Before baking it is rolled in sugar and during baking it’s brushed with melted butter. The surface can be provided any additional topping. Usually, sugar syrup and nuts are used.
