We are still having rain, for two days now. I was going back through my photo archives. Found these smoke bush leaves with raindrops I wanted to share.
This bush is in the front yard and every year I find bird nests in the bush. Usually mockingbirds nest in this bush.
Cool to see the different hiding spots the birds use to build their nests. I cannot wait for spring.

finding a bird’s nest is always fun. I love looking at trees in the fall when I can actually see all the birds nests I missed!
Yes the leaves are so pretty and nice in the sunshine as well. Same here with the bird nests.
There was one in the tree in front of our house that I found, after the leaves fell. Now I am curious who was there.
I find many this time of the year and have no idea who built them.
I can properly identify a Raven’s nest now!
