Since prevention is always better than cure, there is nothing better than using food to boost the immune system. After all, having a strong immune system is synonymous with health at all levels, as this ‘protective shield’, when intact, is able to prevent and cure some types of diseases or health problems.
These are the foods that most benefit the immune system, as they have a greater antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and even anti-fungal power.
Yogurt – Rich in probiotics, a fundamental component for intestinal health (which has a determining role in the ‘strength’ of the immune system). It is important to strike a balance between probiotic and prebiotic.
Apple – In addition to having negative calories, this fruit holds quercetin (one of the most powerful antioxidants).
Pepper – Rich in vitamin C and beta-carotene with antioxidant power.
Cruciferous vegetables – Holders of isothiocyanates, chemicals of plant origin that protect cells from infections.
Garlic – In addition to being antiseptic, it is an excellent protector of infections, also favoring blood and the heart.
Spinach – Rich in vitamin A and zinc, two micronutrients that improve immunity.

A proper diet goes a long way in warding off colds and more!
Most of this is a regular in our garden , yogurt is a staple food in our home and apple is also eaten at least once a day.
I have what my system needs.
All of these foods I love and consume. Most consume fresh garlic I planted alone in the garden.
